This subclass includes exclusively activities consisting in printing services not related to the production of products. The printed products are usually protected by copyright.
This subclass includes:
- printing of magazines and other periodicals issued less frequently than four times a week,
- printing of books, brochures, sheet music and manuscripts, maps, atlases, posters, advertising catalogues, brochures and other advertisements, postage stamps, revenue stamps, business forms, cheques and other securities, smart cards, albums, calendars, notebooks, diaries, beer mats, forms, letter paper, headed paper and other similar printed articles using printing presses, offset, rotogravure, flexographic, screen and other printing machines, photocopiers, computer printers, embossers, photocopiers and thermocopiers, including high-speed printing directly on textile products/materials, plastics, glass, metal, wood and ceramics
- digital printing
- screen printing on textiles and clothing
- photocopying of documents
- decorative printing, for example gift wrapping paper, wallpaper, transfer products
- large-format printing, for example flags, banners, roll-up advertising stands, posters
- printing of labels and tags (for example by lithography, gravure printing, flexography), printing of signs
- laser engraving on textiles
- activities related to photo printing.
This subclass excludes:
- printing on textile products that is part of their production process, classified in 13.30.Z,
- manufacture of stationery articles (for example notebooks, binders, registers, accounting books, business forms), where the printed information therein is of minor importance, classified in 17.23.Z,
- publishing activities, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 58.1,
- activities related to advertising design, classified in 73.11.Z,
- photocopying services related to the administrative operation of the office, classified in 82.10.Z,
- engraving on metal, glass, wood and the like, classified in the relevant subclass depending on the material used.
