Manufacture of fertilisers and nitrogen compounds (PKD 20.15.Z)
This subclass includes:
- the manufacture of fertilizers:
- pure or mixed fertilizers: nitrogenous, phosphatic, potassic,
- urea-based fertilizers, natural crude phosphates and natural crude potash salts,
- the manufacture of nitrogen compounds:
- nitric acid, nitrating mixtures, ammonia, ammonium chloride, ammonium carbonate, potassium nitrites and nitrates,
- the manufacture of substrate without sown mycelium,
- the manufacture of horticultural soil consisting of a mixture of natural soil, peat, sand, clay and minerals, with nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium as an essential component,
- the manufacture of other fertilizers by mixing or chemical treatment of animal or vegetable products (organic, organic-mineral, microelement fertilizers).
This subclass excludes:
- guano extraction, classified in 08.91.Z,
- the manufacture of agrochemical products (for example pesticides), classified in 20.20.A, 20.20.B, 20.20.C,
- the manufacture of liming agents, classified in 20.59.Z,
- the manufacture of compost from waste, classified in 38.21.Z,
- the manufacture of fertilizers that are isolated, chemically defined compounds, classified in the relevant subclasses of other divisions of Section C.
