This subclass includes:

  • the manufacture of plastics in primary forms:
    • polymers, including polymers of ethylene, propylene, styrene, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and acrylics,
    • polyamides,
    • phenolic and epoxy resins and polyurethanes,
    • alkyd, polyester and polyether resins,
    • polymer ion exchangers,
  • the manufacture of silicones in primary forms,
  • activities related to blending of plastics,
  • the manufacture of chemical cellulose derivatives,
  • the manufacture of powders, granules or flakes of plastics by blending or transforming resins derived from recovered plastic waste,
  • the manufacture of plastics in flakes or granules, based on pre-processed plastic waste from material recovery processes.

This subclass excludes:

  • the manufacture of synthetic and artificial continuous filaments and yarn, classified in 20.60.Z,
  • the processing, shredding, cleaning, grinding of plastic waste, classified in 38.21.Z.
