This subclass includes:
- production of cutlery and knives and blades for cutlery and knives (for example knives, forks, spoons),
- production of other cutlery items, for example:
- cleavers and choppers,
- razors, shaving machines and razor blades,
- scissors and hair clippers,
- production of sabres, swords, sidearms, bayonets and the like,
- production of pencil sharpeners.
This subclass excludes:
- production of knives and cutting blades for industrial machinery, classified in 25.63.Z,
- production of hollowware (pots, kettles and the like), tableware (bowls, serving dishes and the like) or flatware (plates, saucers and the like), classified in 25.99.Z,
- production of cutlery of precious metals, classified in 32.12.Z.
