This subclass includes the publishing of:
- books, brochures, pamphlets and similar publications,
- dictionaries and encyclopedias,
- atlases, maps and charts,
- e-books and audiobooks,
- comics and graphic novels,
- the distribution of e-books and audiobooks via streaming and downloads, by publishers. All possible forms of publishing (printed, digital, analogue or any other) are included here.
This subclass excludes:
- the production of globes, classified in 32.99.Z,
- the publishing of advertising material, classified in 58.19.Z,
- the publishing of music textbooks and sheet music, classified in 59.20.Z,
- the joint publishing and distribution of podcasts, classified in 59.20.Z,
- activities related to the streaming of audiobooks not connected with their publishing, classified in 60.10.Z,
- the activities of independent writers, classified in 90.11.Z.
