Primary education (PKD 85.20.Z)
This subclass includes:
- education at primary level, providing pupils with literacy, numeracy and basic skills and knowledge in subjects such as: Polish, modern foreign language, mathematics, history, social studies, natural science, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, art, music, technology, information technology, safety education and physical education,
- education in artistic schools not conferring professional qualifications (first level), implementing the first stage of artistic education, the completion of which does not confer a profession,
- implementation of educational programmes within or outside the school system that are equivalent in content to primary school programmes, but are intended for persons over 18 years of age, for example adult literacy programmes, second-chance or reintegration programmes.
This subclass excludes:
- out-of-school education and training regardless of age or field of study, defined and classified in the relevant subclasses of group 85.5,
- day care of children, classified in 88.91.Z.
- This group includes: - education at basic vocational, basic sectoral, secondary sectoral or general secondary level
- implementation of educational programmes within or outside the school system that are equivalent in content to upper secondary school programmes, but are intended for persons over 18 years of age, for example second-chance or reintegration programmes.
- This group does not include: - out-of-school forms of education, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 85.5.
