Cultural education (PKD 85.52.Z)
This subclass covers courses and classes in the fields of art, theatre and music. Units providing this type of instruction may be called “schools”, “studios”, “classes” and the like. They provide formally organised classes related to hobby, recreation or personal development. They do not lead to a vocational diploma, bachelor’s degree or academic degree.
This subclass includes:
- instruction in playing musical instruments and other music classes,
- art classes,
- dance courses,
- drama schools,
- schools of fine arts,
- schools of performing arts,
- photography courses.
- activities of professional instructors and teachers in the field of artistic education.
This subclass excludes:
- art schools not conferring vocational qualifications, classified in 85.20.Z,
- schools of applied arts, fine arts and performing arts classified as art schools conferring vocational qualifications, classified in
- photography schools, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 85.3,
- higher art education institutions, classified in 85.40.Z,
- foreign language teaching, classified in 85.59.A,
- mediation activities, classified in 88.99.Z.
