This subclass includes:
- manufacture of non-wovens, whether or not impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with plastics or rubber,
- manufacture of non-wovens in which plastics or rubber act as the binder,
- manufacture of non-woven sheets intended for the production of wound-care dressings,
- manufacture of non-wovens intended for the production of baby wipes.
This subclass excludes:
- manufacture of finished articles of non-wovens, for example:
- bed linen, table linen, toilet linen and kitchen linen made of non-wovens, classified in 13.92.Z,
- curtains made of non-wovens, classified in 13.92.Z,
- floor cloths, dish cloths, dust cloths and similar cleaning cloths made of non-wovens, classified in 13.92.Z,
- clothing made of non-wovens, classified in 14.29.Z,
- diapers and absorbent inserts for diapers for infants and young children, sanitary towels, classified in 17.22.Z,
- textile wall coverings, classified in 17.24.Z,
- single-use drapes used during surgical procedures, made of non-wovens, classified in 32.50.B,
- personal protective masks (for example FFP2, FFP3, surgical masks), classified in 32.50.B.
