Sawmilling of wood (PKD 16.11.Z)
This subclass includes:
- sawing, planing and mechanical processing of wood,
- splitting into layers, debarking or peeling of logs,
- the production of railway sleepers of wood,
- the production of non-assembled wooden floor materials,
- the production outside forest areas of wood wool, sawdust and wood flour, chips and wood fragments.
This subclass excludes:
- the extraction of raw wood, classified in 02.20.Z,
- the drying of wood, classified in 16.12.Z,
- the production of suitably thin veneer sheets for use in plywood, boards and panels, classified in 16.21.Z,
- the production of parquet blocks, strips and the like, assembled into boards, of wood or bamboo, classified in 16.22.Z,
- the production of shingles and tiles, classified in 16.23.Z,
- the production of fireplace logs or compressed wood, classified in 16.26.Z.
