This subclass includes:

  • the production of glasses for clocks and watches, spectacles lenses and optical elements not used in optics,
  • the production of imitation jewellery of glass,
  • the production of electrical insulators and insulating fittings, of glass,
  • the production of glass lampshades,
  • the production of glass figurines,
  • the production of glass: shaped articles, bricks, slabs, hollow blocks, standard bricks, roof tiles, of a kind used for construction or building purposes, and cellular or foam glass in blocks, slabs, plates, cast or otherwise formed,
  • the production of glass in the form of rods, tubes,
  • the production of glass doors, walls and similar items,
  • finishing of other glass, including technical glass (for example by cutting or mechanically polishing glass products).

This subclass excludes:

  • the production of optical elements used in optics, classified in 26.70.Z,
  • the production of syringes and other medical laboratory equipment, classified in 32.50.A, 32.50.B.
