- the production of precious metal alloys,
- the production of precious metals in semi-manufactured form or as powder,
- plating of base metals with silver, gold or platinum by brazing or soldering, welding, hot rolling or similar mechanical means,
- the production of precious metal wire by drawing,
- the production of plates, sheets, strips and laminates from precious metal foil,
- the recovery of silver from waste and scrap by electrolytic refining,
- the melting and casting of precious metal articles in the form of ingots, blocks or similar forms.
