Site preparation (PKD 43.12.Z)
This subclass includes:
- site preparation,
- earthworks (for example related to digging trenches and excavations, levelling the ground, spoil piling, stone removal, explosive demolition),
- preparation of sites for mining and quarrying, for example:
- removal of overburden and other works related to the development and preparation of mineral deposit sites, excluding sites for oil and natural gas extraction,
- drainage of building sites,
- drainage works on agricultural and forestry land,
- preparation of land for archaeological work.
This subclass excludes:
- drilling for oil or natural gas extraction, classified in 06.10.Z and 06.20.Z,
- exploratory drilling related to oil or gas extraction, classified in 09.10.Z,
- test drilling and ancillary service activities related to drilling (for example in mining activities), classified in 09.90.Z,
- soil decontamination, classified in 39.00.Z,
- drilling of wells and water intakes, classified in 42.21.Z,
- sinking of shafts, classified in 43.50.Z.
