This subclass includes:
- activities related to post-production of films, video recordings or audiovisual and television programmes, for example:
- editing, subtitling, opening and closing credits,
- digital transfer of film from film stock,
- conversion to video streaming formats,
- activities of film laboratories and specialised laboratories dealing with animated films:
- developing and processing motion picture films,
- reproduction of motion picture films for cinema distribution,
- stock film library activities and the like.
This subclass excludes:
- copying of films and reproduction of audio and video recordings from master copies, classified in 18.20.Z,
- wholesale of recorded media, classified in 46.49.Z,
- retail sale of recorded media, classified in 47.69.C,
- production of animations, classified in 59.11.Z,
- processing of films other than for the film industry, classified in 74.20.Z,
- rental of recorded media, classified in 77.22.Z,
- real-time (simultaneous) subtitling for live television broadcasts, classified in 82.99.B,
- activities of independent actors, cartoonists, directors, set designers and other activities supporting performing arts, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 90.
