This subclass includes:
- acquisition of copyright or distribution rights (for example of film and audiovisual works),
- distribution of productions (for example film and audiovisual works, to cinemas, networks and television stations, and exhibitors),
- distribution of video films via streaming and download by their publishers.
This subclass excludes:
- copying films and reproducing audio and video recordings from a master copy, classified in 18.20.Z,
- wholesale trade of recorded information carriers, classified in 46.49.Z,
- retail trade of recorded information carriers, classified in 47.69.C,
- reproduction of motion pictures for cinema distribution, classified in 59.12.Z,
- distribution of video recordings via streaming or download, not related to their publication, classified in 60.20.Z,
- management of copyright and distribution rights in films, classified in 74.91.Z,
- renting out recorded information carriers, classified in 77.22.Z.
