This subclass includes:
- reproduction from a master copy of gramophone records, CDs, DVDs, music tapes or other sound recordings,
- reproduction from a master copy of CDs, DVDs and video tapes with films or other video recordings,
- reproduction from a master copy of software and data on all kinds of discs and tapes.
This subclass excludes:
- reproduction of various printed matter, classified in 18.11.Z, 18.12.Z,
- publishing of software, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 58.2,
- production and distribution of films, video tapes and films on discs or similar media, classified in 59.11.Z, 59.12.Z, 59.13.Z,
- reproduction of films for cinematic distribution, classified in 59.12.Z,
- production of master copies of recordings or sound materials, classified in 59.20.Z.
