This subclass includes wholesale trade of:
- ores of ferrous and non-ferrous metals,
- ferrous and non-ferrous metals in unworked form,
- gold and other precious metals,
- semi-finished metal products and metal ores,
- semi-finished products of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, not elsewhere classified,
- steel sheets, including the performance of ordinary sheet-cutting operations associated with the trading activity, which do not result in a new product,
- gold and other precious metals purchased from households or business entities and sold to retailers, industrial, commercial, institutional or professional users, or other wholesalers.
This subclass excludes:
- wholesale of metal waste and scrap, classified in 46.87.Z,
- sales of "investment" gold, classified in the relevant subclasses of section L.
