Wholesale of waste and scrap (PKD 46.87.Z)
This subclass includes:
- wholesale of metal and non-metal waste and scrap, and materials intended for recycling, including activities combined with collection, sorting, separating, dismantling parts from used products (for example, from used cars for the purpose of obtaining parts suitable for reuse); packing, repacking, storage and delivery, but without any transformation process. The purchased and sold waste retains its value,
- wholesale of reusable goods (for example, metals, plastics) obtained after dismantling cars, computers, televisions and other equipment by economic entities on their own account, without further processing,
- wholesale of motor vehicle wrecks.
This subclass excludes:
- collection of household and industrial waste, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 38.1,
- processing of waste and scrap and other materials into secondary raw materials, where the required waste treatment method is mechanical or chemical transformation (the secondary raw materials produced are suitable for direct use in an industrial production process, but are not a new final product), classified in 38.21.Z,
- dismantling of unusable cars, computers, televisions and other equipment and parts for material recovery, classified in 38.21.Z,
- ship-breaking, classified in 38.21.Z,
- crushing of cars in a mechanical process, classified in 38.21.Z,
- waste treatment for disposal without recovery, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 38.3,
- retail sale of second-hand goods, classified in 47.79.A, 47.79.B, 47.79.C.
