This subclass includes:
- activities related to road, rail and other land transport of passengers, animals and goods:
- operation of terminals (for example railway stations, bus stations, freight transhipment stations),
- activities related to railway infrastructure and operation of railway-related facilities, freight terminals, support facilities, railway fuel supply stops,
- services related to the use of roads, bridges, tunnels, including winter maintenance activities,
- shunting operations on railways,
- operation of car parks or garages, bicycle parking facilities and storage of caravans,
- activities related to weighing cargo in road freight transport,
- collection of transport charges,
- liquefaction and regasification of natural gas for further transport.
This subclass excludes:
- liquefaction of natural gas carried out at a mine site for transport purposes, classified in 09.10.Z,
- regasification of natural gas for distribution in a network system, classified in 35.22.Z,
- road repair, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 42,
- transhipment of goods, classified in 52.24.A, 52.24.B, 52.24.C,
- movement of loads on industrial premises, usually using transport equipment that is not suitable for use on roads open to public traffic, classified in 52.24.C.
