This subclass includes:
- activities of regular and volunteer fire brigade units in the field of fire protection, firefighting, rescue of people and animals, assistance in cases of natural disasters and other threats (civil disasters, floods, road accidents and the like)
- activities in the field of fire protection carried out on commission
- activities of lifeguards
- rescue activities on open waters and in the mountains.
This subclass excludes:
- protection of forests against fires and firefighting in forests, carried out by non-specialised units, classified in 02.40.Z
- activities related to fire protection and firefighting at oil and natural gas extraction sites, carried out by non-specialised units, classified in 09.10.Z
- activities related to fire protection and firefighting at airports, carried out by non-specialised units, classified in 52.23.Z.
