This subclass includes:
- provision of technical infrastructure related to streaming services, data processing services and related activities:
- full processing of data supplied by clients,
- generation of specialised reports based on data supplied by clients,
- activities related to data processing using blockchain / distributed ledger technology (DLT);
- activities in the field of specialised hosting services, such as:
- website hosting,
- application hosting;
- making high-performance computing equipment (mainframe) available to clients for a specified period of time (time-share),
- digitisation of files (for further data processing),
- data entry,
- storage of digital data,
- issuance of crypto-assets without a corresponding liability (not carried out by a monetary authority).
This subclass excludes:
- publishing of software, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 58.2,
- making applications available for download from the Internet or for online use, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 58.2,
- post-production in the field of converting video content into streaming formats, classified in 59.12.Z,
- post-production in the field of converting audio content into streaming formats, classified in 59.20.Z,
- distribution of sound recordings via streaming or for download, not related to their publishing, classified in 60.10.Z,
- distribution of video recordings via streaming and for download, not related to publishing, classified in 60.20.Z,
- design of computer systems, classified in 62.20.B,
- electronic storage of archival materials for public access, classified in 91.12.Z,
- repair and maintenance of computers and (tele)communications equipment, classified in 95.10.Z. service activities in the field of information
- This group includes: - operation of websites (Internet search portals), using a search engine to generate and maintain extensive databases, Internet addresses and content in an easily searchable format
- other service activities in the field of information, n.e.c., such as:
- telephone information services,
- information/clipping searches (for example, by web scraping).
- This group does not include: - intermediation in retail sales, classified in the relevant subclasses of group 47.9
- intermediation in passenger transport, classified in 52.32.Z
- intermediation in accommodation, classified in 55.40.Z
- publishing activities, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 58,
- broadcasting activities, classified in the relevant subclasses of division 60,
- activities of news syndicates and news agencies, classified in 60.31.Z,
- activities of call centres, classified in 82.20.Z.
